    Default One buttery smooth Torrey

So here she is! I found her all rusty and dull. So I gave her a good rubbin' and this is what she looks like now! It seems like she has a bow or warp in the middle of the blade near the cutting edge but after much trouble I got her honed up and ready to go. Although i have no arm hair on either arm as a result of testing while honing... First time shaving with a square point though. So she bit me a couple of times. Next will be a rescale in ambonya burl with a brass lined Brazilian Rosewood wedge!

You did good. Handsome lady! Square points are the b---ch!

Shaved with my Torrey the other day and she bit back also. They are like a woman, stop paying attention and you get it on the cheek!

Yeh but it felt like I wasn't even shaving! I had to check a couple of times to see if I had any whiskers on my blade.

Cuts and nicks like that remind me of an old saying when I was growing up, "it was a sneaky pete event".

A little update. Was on a 24hr duty the other day, so I had all of my shaving stuff with me. Well I guess one of my coworkers had decided that it would be neat and check my razor out. Well whom ever it was, it looked like they tried to close the razor incorrectly and chipped the freaking blade!!!! I was livid. So last night I had the privilege of spending my evening resetting the entire bevel... Not happy....

Crappy. Sorry to hear that. I brought my new blade to work to show off and the same thing happened... Rolled edge.
