Well yeah , I just managed to save this blade but will be more careful in the future !!

It looked real good in the vendors pics (?) and I thought the pitting on the bevel-edge was
just cosmetic, that is, I could weave my "magic" and voila !!....Silly me.

It took a heck of a lot of time and energy to get this to where I can now hone it and shave
with it. A good lesson learnt.
