Thread: usb microscope

Can anyone help advise what magnification is best to look for in a usb microscope? I currently use a loupe which goes to x60 but would like to upgrade to a microscope. I have seen them on ebay with between x200 to x800. Any advice would be useful I'm not experienced with microscope

200 Will be plenty good enough thats what I use on all my honing very precise goodluck

I have a veho 400x. Its very good and reasonably priced. I used it for a while and still do when Im working on a new stone. Some people use it often, I use it infrequently.
