Default Dubl Duck and W&B find!

Found these today and man! They are in better condition that the pic shows!
W&B the celebrated Washington razor is sick! Sadly the one scale is cracked at the pivot point! Not happy !

I love the dubl duck small blade! The scales are a bit bent but i think i would be able to clean and reuse Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1390084292.172108.jpg

That's the problem with e-Bay. Everybody looks at the top dollar and thinks their little gem is worth it. Around here they ask more for rusty/broken razors than I bet you paid for both of those. Nice going, looks like you have a little work to do but should enjoy them once their shaving :<0)
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

You are right... I got yesterday a Joseph rodgers for dirt cheap... Today this guy wanted 7 times what i pay for the same razor! Same brand almost the same... All antiques stores agree that just recently there has been a crave for razors... Thats why they are pricey! I am not bias... All i look for is vintage... Restorable possibility and thats it... The brand doesnt matter ad much as the condition and if i like it... Should be fun to restore these...

Great score this weekend... If i had more money i would have come home with around a dozen razors! And some safety razors... Which i never use but their were super cool

Is it just the angle or has the Dubl Duck been cut down?

I hit the antique store today as well. Came home with nothing. There was a WB chopper in the case marked $35. I almost couldn't contain myself. Only problem was once it was in my hands, I notice the blade was cracked severely by the heel, almost up to the spine.

It is not as long as my other razors but if somebody cut it ... They were pros cus it looks like it was made that way... And the length and the scales match...

Ya, close it and give us a pic. If it has been cut down, the scales could be shortened at the top to match. Nothing wrong with a shortie, IMO.
