Default I think I am getting better at this restoration thing.

So I got this Joseph Elliott in not too bad, neither good condition. It had done scales that were done sort of cardboard feeling materialName: uploadfromtaptalk1390548940613.jpg

This is going to look nice! Did you make the new scales yourself?

Yes I made the new scales. I am trying to decide between white holly, ebony or brass for the spacer; what would you guys use?

    Looks pretty good.
I myself find it MUCH easier to drill the holes FIRST before shaping. Also getting the wedge done before any finishing is done. YMMV though.

I would do the brass wedge also!

Coming nice. I would go with the brass spacer. Can not wait to see it finished.

That turned out real nice. Looks like it is ready to shave!
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

It is and for a tone I thought of selling it, but after a couple of shaves I decided that it will be a keeper.
