from a few razors that i've picked up that needed a refresh, i decided to try fixing up the thomas turner with broken ivory scales.
i kept the scales so that i may repair them sometime, but i've ordered new material for the replacements.

so i went over it with mothers metal polish and a powerball to get it to shine again.

i did a bit of sanding with 800 and 1200 grit paper, which got a lot of the pitting taken care of, then polished it again.
theres very light swirls on account of the sanding, and i'm not sure how is best to remove them. i'm open to ideas, so feel free to chime in.
heres where i'm at now, you can sort of see the swirls in these pictures.
