    Old Friend new handle
The scales are in "black" horn, the "point" and the spacer are in mother of pearl
do you have any suggestions to help me improve my technique?

Looks like the scales could of been sanded and polished a little more.
I PERSONALLY like to have the blade CLOSER to the wedge.
Still I give it a THUMBS UP...

The pictures don't really show it at all, I am a wedge vs spacer fan. I also have used a couple of way out of balance razors and usually check to make sure it is somewhere in the ball park. I think yours probably are but something to consider while building. I think Ed hit anything else I would consider a constructive criticism. It looks pretty good, it took me a lot of attempts to get the pinning looking good, yours look bang on. Happy restoring.

Nice resto Paciccio, hope it shaves as good as it looks
    The inlay looks great and
the pins & washers look spot on - how did you shape the washers

I know it's a traditional scale shape, but I agree with chev I personally make my scales shorter with as small a gap to the wedge as I can, then the wedge shape is the only extra length added,
I think the extra length is only required to balance the blade weight when using the lighter wedge materials
This only my opinion and I am sure there are plenty here who may disagree and prefer the longer scale length
    Job well done
