    Default Got some horn

Never tried working horn for scales so this'll be a first. Got two slabs of honey and two slabs of brown.

Now if my scale making skills were as good as this horn looks, I'd be in business!

I find the horn very easy to work with. It machines easily with standard woodworking tools. Follow a sanding progression into 2K and then some polish and you will be golden. It also finishes up nicely with a buffer if you have one. I often skip the mothers and go with white polish on my buffer. As usual in the high grits of sanding wet is better. Water seems to work fine, I have never tried WD or the likes.

That horn looks nice. Where did you pick it up?

Having seen what you can do with wood, I am looking forward to what you come up with.

No problem. Obviously I haven't dug into this at all so can't speak to any issues or anything like that - but hopefully we'll have good luck with it!
I'm really liking the look of the brown color.
