    Default Renaissance Wax

I have a couple of razors with Gold engraving, etching, coating on the Blade. If you use Maas or Flitz or Semichrome, most of the time these polishes will remove the delicate gold.

This wax dosen't. It is not a polish, so it's not going to remove any oxidation or rust or any other impurities on the blade.

What it will do it put a nice shine and protectant on delicate engraving on your blades.

    Default

it's used at the Royal Victoria and Albert museum in London, to protect old knives and sword from tarnish and deterioration.

it also works on Wood, Bone, Horn, celluloid, bakelite and plastic without staining and so is ideal for straight razors
