WTB: Dubl Duck scales
Does anyone have original Dubl Duck scales in decent shape that Icould use to rescale some Dubl Ducks of various types? Maybe the blade is trashed or chipped, etc... Maybe you redid the razor with a custom handle and still have them, etc... thanks - John

Thanked: 213This one is $20 the blade is in it but has chunks out of it but the scales look good. Let me know if you want I will pick it up. $20 plus shipping actual cost no profit on my end.

Thanked: 79Good luck on your search!
I'm actually looking for DD Lifetime scales, myself, but I'm not holding my breath for that one. IF someone has some, great, if not, that works too.
Which ones in particular were you looking for? In a month or two if you've not found anything, I think I still have a DD Goldedge I shortened (the blade, not the scales...it arrived with a crack in the middle of the blade, so I just made the blade shorter...a Goldedge dwarf.....sortof...)

Thanked: 79Hi Ivo,
Yes, those are exactly what I'm talking about. I don't have it in front of me but pretty sure it has inlaid "lifetime" on one scale, and the bottom of the scales have the little skeleton guy there, not sure if he's fiddling or if he's the reaper, (it's packed away now) but pretty sure grim reaper.
The tip of one of the scales is broken off of mine, so the blade is just hanging there. I've treated some minor pitting on the tang, and honed the blade (of course) but would like some original looking scales, as without the tip of the one scale, I can't quite repair it.

OK John, thanks, but I'll pass on those scales. I'm sure at some point I'll run across a junker blade with a set I can use. thx - John
