Default How to reglue metal decal on Cmon Blackie scales?

So I have this c'mon Blackie that I want to restore. The scales are actually in good shape, but the metal decals at one end are coming loose. What would be a good glue to use for reattaching the decal? I think it's nickel or silver. If I wanted to remove them, what would be a good solvent?

Superglue and toothpick as an applicator

Acetone will pop them right off.
If you remove them your scales will be no good anymore.

Superglue is the way to re attach them.

If it were me I would try and clean up the underside with a dental pick or something and try to glue it back down with a TINY tiny bit of super glue.

If you unpin the scales you might be able to remove them with some very, very (did I say VERY) gentle 'prying' with the tip of an exacto. I'm talking barely enough force to lift the skin off an onion. They're made of soft metal and will bend and distort very easily if you are not extremely careful.

Then again, judging by the pictures, if you unpin the scales they may even just fall off on their own.

As for reattaching them, as Heespharm and Ed have said, a tiny bit of superglue. You might be able to use a clothespin to clamp it while the glue cures, just make sure there's not so much glue that it squeezes out from the edges of the decal and gets on the clothespin as well, or it may cause damage when you remove the clothespin.
