Thread: Dyed bone suppliers for longer scales any suppliers known

G'day all,
Been searching for the last week or so for suppliers of dyed bone in longer slabs of 6-7" plus x 1 1/4" wide & preferably 1/8" thick
mascraft & a few others have 5" & another had white only in 8"x1"x1/8" but none so far dyed
looking for the black& white dyed if anyone has any other sources would be greatly appreciated

Who had 8" lengths? I can't find bone in any condition short of picking it up off the butcher's floor!

That blows me away. I'm constantly looking for scale length bone around 6 inches. Knife supply houses never stock scale size bone usually 4-5 inches long. Most dog bones clean up at 5 inches if your lucky, And who wants to hack a dog bone to pieces with all that dust.

if you search dyed camel bone I found a couple only that go up to 5 1/4" max just short of what I need

You may e able to contact masecraft (or other suppliers) directly and ask if they can custom order a set for you.

thanks Matt, but I am already awainting a response from Masecraft & a couple of others still but a couple of suppliers have already replied they only go to 5 1/16" max also & 6" is the shortest I could go with no room for waste or error etc
