Thanked: 0Where is the post with the three restored blades?
OK, am I just going nuts?
There was a post that I read recently (like yesterday?) that a member had restored three old razors, no scales, and talked about using a couple of buffing wheels that he had gotten from Bill Ellis, where there was a satin finish on the blades, and mirror on the spine and tang? Know the one I mean?
Where is that post and those picts, I am dying to ask some questions here, and I can't seem to find the post! I have been all over the posts for the last two days and I can't find thisone, it is driving me insane.
Thanks in advance.

Check on theshaveden.com. I think they're posted there. Bill got really angry a while back and isn't posting here anymore.

Thanked: 0I will check, but...
I don;t think the blades were actually done by Bill Ellis, the member had said, if I recall correctly, that Bill Ellis had given/sold him several sanding wheels that he had used to buff the razors which left a satin sheen to the blades themselves...they were really sweet old wedges, again if my memory is serving me...
But I will check over at the link...I just don't think it was Bill that did them...
