Thread: New Razor Coffin box Template

G’day all Woo hoo I have finally got around to getting a new template for a Coffin shaped razor box template drawn up. these are shots of a test box made up from Manilla folder 0.3mm (0.0115”) for my longer Monkey Tailed “Brunoblade” I am working on, it comes in at 205mm (8”) overall length thick with a 100mm (4”) by 32mm (1 ¼”) wide by 15mm (9/16”) inside blade area, then tampering down to 15mm (9/16”) square over 105mm (4’) for the tailnote tis is a sharp tail area to suit my blade, I will try for another photo tonight with the razor for comparison also my intension is to get some more versions drawn up in the next few days for the more traditional shorter & wider tailed 1” plus blade shapes in both the manila folder (0.3mm/0.115”) & the heaver Kleenex/cereal box (0.6mm/0.0255”) card sizes
the PDF hopefully works just print it 1:1 scale on A4 sheet
these follow the same assembly principals as per Joamo's standard templates "Paper Case for Razors" with a few mods to suit the tampered coffin shape.
Moderators - is there a location on SRP that I can upload these template files to for everyone to use

for your Coffin box making enjoyment please find attached the revised Coffin boxes templates to now include the following options:
1” Monkey tailed blade 205mm (8”) overall length on 0.3mm (0.0115”) & 0.6mm (0.0225”)card
1” Wade & Butcher blade 175mm (7”) overall length on 0.3mm (0.0115”) & 0.6mm (0.0225”)card

I am also working on a Coffin box to fit a 10/8” W&B type blade dimensions, so it will fit I am thinking 40mm (1 ½”) by the 175mm (7”) long x 15mm (9/16”) deep
I am thinking the same 100mm (4”) for the blade & wedge length then 75mm (3”) for tang & tails

but as my largest is only 1” could someone with some bigger blades confirm the required closed width & lengths & I will add it to the collection
