    Default Getting out scratches??

I have two straights that Im working on and there are some scratches on both razors. How do I get them out? I have a dremel and attempted to use a fly wheel (120 grit) but stopped after it looked like I was making more scratches.

Start with the finest grit you have and take your time.

Since you've used the 120 grit, I think you'll have to start working your way up again.

I Hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but the progression goes:

    120, 220, 320, 400, 600, 1000, 1200, 1500, 2000

and THATS why they say to start with the finest grit that removes the scratches!

fortunately, once you get rid of the original scratches, then your'e just removing sanding marks.
