Sheffield the celebrated- frown
Hey guys. Looking for some input on the old gal. Its a friend of mines and it has been passed down since his great grandfather and he overheard me talking about restoring razors and asked me if it could be made shave ready.
It was in baaaaaaad shape but said hey nothing ventured nothing gained. I drilled out the pins and went to work cleaning the blade. This is where I've come to a crossroads. It has 2mm + frown at the heel and I don't see much meat left to remove it. I think it can be breadknifed out but just barely. And I'm worried that I'll be right up into the shoulder making honing impossible. Open to any and all suggestions. I need some advice on how to proceed.
