Thanked: 4827I am not in the same country but you might try a remote control vehicle and modeling shop. There is micro fasteners in the US and Fastenall in Canada if you don't mind the wait.
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

Looks like I'm gonna have to go overseas. The UK stinks when it comes to stuff that's not common. The bull I get is... We don't carry those as we don't get any call for them. Or we can't carry every thing just in case some one may ask for them once in 5 years. You guys in the states. Are Sooo. Spoiled. I don't. Think you realise. How lucky you are. And yes it is an 's' not. A. ' Z' lol

You can try pick some from people who fixes baitcasting reels, slot car racers or boat/plane model builders.

I don't think that you understand that 99% of us here in the US only have Walmarts left where we can go to. We have to buy sight unseen off the 'net'!! Too!! It an't good anywhere.[emoji33]

Egads man...Jealous of shopping in a big box! Lowes and home despot are NOT stores that carry any variety of specialty items. They would be my absolutely last stop for anything slightly out of mainstream. It is the little mom and pop or specialty tools for machining that will have that item. There are model railroad nuts all over the world. They use tiny fasteners on them...but the smallest I have found in a model train shop is #1 but maybe worth a try.
The easy road is rarely rewarding.
