    Question Kludge with solid core.

    Hi guys,

I had been a hard time finding appropriate material to re-pin some razors. Solid core 1,5mm copper wire (for electric lines) is available to me.
Has anyone pinned copper before? I know it renders a beautiful shine after polishing but is copper too soft for the job or offers any Galvanic corrosion risk?
    Any info will be useful.
I have a source for pure silver rods too, from a friend who makes silver jewelery.

    Thanks in advance,

I think if you search around a lot of people use brass, and I think nickel silver. Brass rod has been available locally for me. But all can be ordered online.
