Thanked: 284Shout out to 10pups and wolfpack
You all have seen this Glasgow on my other thread after the restore, which I was very pleased with. I was happy to get this beauty into my rotation. But, I'm a sucker for small even bevels and long story short 10pups touched it up ever so slightly on his grinder to start fresh. Wolfpack then helped me get a nice even bevel with some heel work and I was set.
I did a 1 stone hone with my coticule (seems like this is the only way I can get my wedges evenly) and it shaves beautifully. The only thing left is I will probably take it back to a satin finish with the crocus cloth method with their help. Anyway, thanks guys.
After grinder and buffing:

Thanked: 284Oh, and I should also mentioned they were kind enough to lend me some Arko. It worked fine, but I can't decide if the scent is "fresh" or "urinal cake". I think I understand why wolfpack mixes some other scents in there

Thanked: 1184I really cherish these small get togethers. Everybody walks away happy and smarter. I learn something every time. Even if it's relearning what I have read. Seeing it happen is easier to embed in your memory and put to practice. I learned to set smiling bevels quicker and better thanks to Wolf and after you guys left I got 4 done wham bam ! Can't beat that kind of fun :<0)
