    Horn with Honey streaks.

Horn is legit to the period. They Honey streaks make it unique!

Then there is black with streaks of which I have no great pic of right now.

The only other upscale things I can think of that you haven't dissed are inlays and pressed horn which you could hunt high and low for but ...........

Thanks a lot, guys. I suspected that I basically am limited to horn and bone scales, but I wanted to double-check in case someone had another good idea. I'm posting the razors to Glen now, so one of us will have to post pics when the restorations are done!

If you are sending to Glen, I would probably suggest horn. He makes some very nice ones and can do them in a style which complements all the blades I have seen. While you have not posted a picture of the blade, horn is generally correct for most Sheffield-made razors. Good Luck!

I've been thinking of sending this pair out. I can't make up my mind whether I want dark horn, streaked horn, ivory, stag or elk horn. Also considered trying to do it myself. Decisions, decisions ....

Jimmy you better flip a dime. I say dime because with all those decisions a quarter may leave a heck of a bruise by the time your done :<0)

I don't care if you put a 7-day set of zee-pks in there, I am told that at my destination at that point it's warm enough that the blades go for a rebirth and the facial hair is removed by novel methods
