Thanked: 0Joseph Elliot finally finished!
Hi all,
A while back I posted asking for advice on how to return the gold inlay on a razor's handle. I ended up buying krylon gold, the stuff that sticks to anything. I sprayed it into a cup then just painted the entire side of the razor with gold. I then proceeded to take 1200 grit sand paper and sand off the non inlay are. I think she turned out quite nice! This razor is a 7/8 half hollow India steel square point.

Thanked: 8Try gold leaf sometime. I'm not sure of the exact process but I've seen some finished scales that looked great. I have a few j Elliott razors and they are great shavers.
