    Default Snakewood Suppyer

Hi guys, i have been trying to find some snakewood to make some scales but drawing a blank (pun intended). Any i do find is either too small (knife handle blanks) or way to big (and expensive).

I dont suppose anyone knows a decent place to find some ? and a place for nice fancy wood in general

Thank you in advance for any help

I don't know your side of the pond, but here, shops like Woodcraft typically have a stock of exotic woods in various shapes and sizes. I once took a visiting woodworker to Woodcraft, and I thought I'd never get him out.

If you don't have any luck, maybe ask someone to go for you and take photos so you can "hand pick" some. Give them shipping money and a little extra for beer.
