My best work yet
So I've been at this resto thing for a few months, and I have to say, its a really addictive little hobby. I've been able to resurrect about a dozen or so old blades and sell them for triple or quadruple what I got them for. This razor, I feel, is my finest complete job yet.
This Boker I scooped up on the bay for like $25. It's a steal of epic proportions. Was in excellent shape except for the drab scales and poor pinning job.

Sorry, my kids are acting like wild animals and had to be corralled.
So I popped those scales off and trashed em. Started at 600 grit WD sandpaper with some WD-40. Not deep enough to really get the black stuff. 400 was the ticket. Moved my way up to 600 and 800...
Then made my way up to 1500, 2k, and 2500. Followed by some buffing with Maas Polish. Popped on these acrylic scales I had from Maggard Razors laying around. Went with all brass double washers. Voila!!

Now I just have to hone it up and take it for a spin on my face!

Nice, enough work to make it shine but not ruin anything! You've got a good touch.
