Thread: Question re CA activator

On Bill Ellis' CD, he mentions that you should use activator with the CA glue. Normally, you'd apply this to one or more of the surfaces that you're trying to adhere, but in this case, we're simply coating a surface. So, my question is;

Do you spray (or paint) the activator on before of after you apply the coat of CA?

I just use a heat gun, but the fumes are deadly. That's why I started using Truoil instead.
