I saw your work and it inspired me to keep mine original. It all depends on what you were given to start with
At worst my crack was running north to south, so I wasnt to worried about it running along the length, another member suggested scoring both sides of blade before making final cut.
As you know these are amazing blades, I removed the spike tip post cut for my confidence. Thank-you for your post that came before me, it gave me confidence.
