Default Repair and honing in Seattle area?

    Hi all,

Not sure if this is the right place for this thread but I can't seem to find the sub forum specifically for connecting with people who can hone and repair razors that I thought I saw when I first joined.

Anyway, I am in Seattle and need to get one of my Dovos repaired; I finally dropped it like I knew I would at some point (luckily it was closed), and it has some minor chipping. I don't own low enough grits to take out the chips and figured it'd be better to have someone else do it, especially since I'm still not so great at honing either. Are there any honemeisters in the Seattle area, or can anyone recommend a shop for it? I saw a couple like Seattle Knives, but they're all knife-focused so it makes me worried about what the quality of their razor repair and honing would be.

    Thanks.

I am over near Bremerton in Kitsap county. I could probably smooth out that edge for you. However, since you would probably have to ship it anyways take a look here Member Services - Straight Razor Place Classifieds and see if one of our pros strikes your fancy.

    I'll send you a PM.
The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.
