Use the base (crown) to make a brush handle, that would be killer.

Here's a nice example of antler scales on a razor. It's one piece. Slot sawed down the middle and then the blade pinned at the hinge.

Another type of handle treatment more often seen on knives than razors.

And a shout out to our esteemed BRUCE ( AKA Sharpton ) who so graciously sent these to me.

    Thanks Again Tom!

That's a great set of horns Shawn! Was that a ram? Wonder what the marrow,or whatever it's called, looks like on those. I mean can you use the whole thickness or are the hollow.
Wullie, that first razor looks the bomb, and gives me ideas on how to use some of this rack, thanks man. Sharpton made those for you? Damn fine work Bruce!

They are rams horns from a big horn sheep. Because they are horn and not antler they are contracted a little different. This is where it get sketchy in my mind. I think the horn grows around a bone base. In theory it should pull off once it has aged enough for the bone to shrink in a bit. I am not sure on that though. They are a pretty good size. It was from a dead animal found in the bush, as opposed to hunted. That is the as found condition. It has been gnawed on by little features so it isn't any good for a full set, but should work for some project for certain.
