    Niiiiiiiiiiice!!!!

Now you have to name all the woods. I should have posted on the Ebay Wisdom post, to buy trash razors on ebay including ugly old wedges and send them to Joe. People would shave money in the long run and have some great looking pieces to shave with.

Absolutely beautiful. In the first set of pics, the one on the far right, and the bottom one in the last set of photos -- the staining and grain remind me of a leopard. What are the spacers? Turquoise? Really stunning.

That's how I feel about his work too. I've got several nice pieces now from his work. Heck, he saved one by being able to grind out a crack in the blade!

Yep -- leopard is what I thought of too! On the one's I've gotten from him, he uses turquoise and malachite (the greener color) stones.

    Padron--
A very nice collection of blades!

Too true - just had a W&B wedge reground and rescaled by Joe - I paid $5 for the blade (no scales, but no rust) and then paid another $70 to have it reground, honed and rescaled - total cost $85 including all shipping for a one-of-a-kind razor that is brand new and will shave the pants off of most razors that cost double or more.

If you're patient and have a good eye, you can get some amazing deals - I've got 4 or 5 excellent shavers with blades that I purchased for between $5 and $10.
