    Default Gifted 8/8 Robeson

    My son presented this to me this yesterday. He said he " knew I was looking for a Robeson". The blade will not need much work and the scales are perfect.     He knew I had finished the restore I was working on and said his first thought was to slip it inside tomorrows bird. Happy Turkey Day to everyone but Substance. (Do you have turkey in OZ?)

    One of my personal favorite razors is a Robeson 'razor that fits your face' with scales just like those. Mine is a 6/8 though. An 8/8 Robeson with a notch point is rare in any condition, but that one is superb.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
