It's Been a struggle to find blanks long enough for razor scales, most of the stuff i find is 5" and under, which is just a hair to short for most of the razors i've restored. Other big problem is most knife blanks are also way to thick and require alot of thinning. I've been going through rastamanwood on ebay sense he cuts a few sets of scales and puts them on auction, but i don't always have time to deal with bidding on some scales.

So i decided I'd just buy a block and cut out slabs my self. Found a block and started chatting with the seller about my struggles ™. He was pretty receptive to the idea of cutting some longer blocks and blanks for SR scales.
