    Default width of scales?

    Ok, I know I saw this on here last week sometime, but I was just looking for it and can't find it anywhere... for those of you that make custom scales, what wood do you tend to start with? 1/4", 1/8"? And what is the width (approx.) of the finished product? Thanks-

    1/8" of 5/32" to begin. 1/8" to just under finished. - John
