    Default Washerless pinning...

Any tutorials on how to pin without washers? Both a domed pin (like used for ivory) as well as a flush pin (like Zowada/Hart)?

Never seen one but remember a couple of things. Countersink the holes in the scales, pin till flush. The hard part is filing down perfect so that the pin flushes out. Should be done before you peen it but if you have to after , well ,,, practice would be wise :<0)

Thanks.. Agreed on the filing. You can't see what's happening with the mushroom underneath or whether you've adequately filled the countersink. Once it's filed, there might be voids. Should be a fun project..
