Boker Scales
I'm intending to restore a couple of my Bokers. I'm having trouble sourcing replacement Boker scales. I've tried directly contacting Boker but sadly haven't had a reply. Any advice or suggestions friends?

One thing you make want to think about is looking for another Boker razor..... with the same style of scales and see if you can purchase it on the cheap. I know some guys will buy razors just for the scales....but the key part here is FOR CHEAP......
I do hope they will reply to you to give you some sort of an answer.
Maybe place an ad looking for this type scales you are looking for.
Good luck!

I would like to know this one as well. My Injun 101 round has a broken back side just below the pin, but the front is perfect. I have been looking for the last month since I shaved with it for the first time and fell in love.
This is the most comfortable shaver I have and I will never sell it.It's a beautiful day somewhere I hope!

Hoop, are you trying to find authentic scales or similar scales? Do you have the skills to make your own? I ask because there are a number of sources for scales material, namely woods, that would make good looking scales.

I "might" be able to do it but not willing to ruin a beautiful set of woods. Yes I would love to make it look "stock" and I have been trying to find ones that would work on FleBay as a mutual friend would call it with no success.
I did talk to Glenn a few weeks ago about some and he is going to get back to me on a new process he is working on for a special material that I have. MUAHAHAHAHA!!!It's a beautiful day somewhere I hope!

Since you are a Chef I guess the materials are Banana Skin Micarta. I'd rather see Pepperoni Micarta myself.

The scales I want to replace are broken. There are plenty of places to buy scales, but I really want authentic Boker. They are for a lovely King Cutter which shaves great. I've had a reply off Boker too now, but they must have misunderstood my enquiry because the link they sent me was for new DE blades! I've replied with more detail of what I'm after. Fingers crossed now!
I'm keeping an eye on eBay too.

Wayne I will keep my ear to the ground as well what color are you looking for the old school black or white? Please post a pic of the scale if you can so I can compare.
