    Default "point" of no return?

That's what some people would have said about this poor W&B
Decided somebody needed to salvage this, and have done pretty well so far. I'm looking for opinions from those who have shaved with shorty razors like this. Muted Square Point? Spanish?
I don't want to create something that will just be a hazard to shave with.

I'm no authority, but if you ask me, great save. That blade might be handy for the crazy grain directions on the neck...

The simple reality is that you usually don't shave with much more than an inch or two of the blade at any given time anyway. In my opinion a razor made into a shorty is simply a good save and is generally still a perfectly good razor for shaving--even if it does look funny.

I like the idea of a short razor like that , have just never done it .. .. I always was drawn to the size and feel of the DD Dwarf although not that short .. nice save !!

I have every intention of continuing the restore, I'm just curious if any of you who have shaved with a shorty have found a muted square to be better (or not) than a square or a Spanish point. (and which do you think would look best on this one )

Can't speak to shaving with a shorty but I love the look of that razor. Like a mini axe.

Just for aesthetics, I could put a new barbers notch in it.

I have shaved with a shortened W&B that had a crack near the heel of the razor.
After removing the cracked section, I decided to mute the edge at heel and toe end.
For the record the edge was not too difficult to hone and the shave was very good.

I shave with nothing but shorties, and havnt found a muted square to be any more or less ideal then a Spanish point. I like either!
