    Default 1st broken scales

Today for the first time I dropped one of my razors resulting in this...

I was was literally holding it and thinking to myself, these scales are kind of ugly. Then I thought, they're original Henckels and the pins look really nice, I'll keep it this way. Then boom.

Bummer! There is a lot of nice scale material out on the market and that razor will look great in a new pair of pants.

At least it was the scales that busted. Those are EASY to replace. A big ol chip on the other hand. ...not so much

That is what I thought. I wasted a big Puma blade by merely dropping.

    Nice Henckels btw.

Murphy's law says time to learn a new skill maybe
That's a bummer but can't wait to see the revised look
Definately better than a chipped blade
    Saved,

For a blade like that, I'd go acrylic:

I think a Henckels is one you can take some liberties with the scales. I'd say acrylic, kirinite, G10.
