Default Vlad's PSA Sanding Disc Gizmo

I've been searching for more specific descriptions, specs, and instructions for Vlad's PSA sanding disc Gizmo. I tried the advanced search, found a bunch of messages by Vlad, but a lot of the hyper links to the original and even updated postings, articles, are broke and just go off nowhere into outer space.

Can anyone suggest the location of where these articles might be located?

Otherwise can any kind Razor Guru out there post a redux of the Vlad PSA sanding kit "how To"...

I guess I'm way too late to get on Vlad's waiting list for one of his own "Vlad-made PSA sanding kit", but I'd really appreciate the original or updated instructions on how to make one for myself...

I'd also be grateful for any leads for good sources for PSA sanding material...

    Thanks in advance,

    Tony

Thanks for the heads up, I already checked it out and I agree that it's an awesome home-made tool...

    BUT

The original Vladsh PSA Sanding Gizmo that I've heard mention of was a 1-1/4" dia. minature sanding disc made from a dremel arbor and some strop leather and home made PSA sanding discs.

I think the advantage of the Vladsh gizmo over the Tox Gizmo is that the disc is more flexible that the drum configuration, and can follow a blade's contours more naturally...

Tox get's around this by only using the protruding front 1/8" of the sanding material which is unsupported by the rubber sanding drum... and thusly flexible... It did occur to me to make a sanding drum from some kind of soft, flexible material like sponge rubber.

I'm probably going to try to rig up at least one of each...

Until then, I'm sanding away by hand... geesh...

    All the best,

    TG
