    Default Traditional or Modern?

I told myself I was going to take a break on this razor, but decided to atleast try and design some scales. Not sure about making traditional or alittle bit more modern. The first pic (traditional) is copied from an old W&B with the same blade shape or the second (alittle more modern). What do you all think? I'm thinking traditional, but am liking the more modern also.

I would go with the second but I would round the pivot a tad. JMO

I like the 1st ones. Looks proper, to my eye.

In materials I like modern such as stainless steel blades, synthetic knots or even in brush handles but the handles are in a traditional style. So I would go traditional style for the scales.

I like the 2nd. I lean toward different or unusual. The traditional is well, traditional and you see scales like that across the spectrum of all brands.

I like the second...I think it contrasts nicely with the barbers notch.

Up to you . It's your razor.
Both styles are traditional. Squared ends are nothing new but # 2 needs the pivot end narrowed down a little.
More commonly the wedge end was squared & the pivot end rounded.
