Thread: First Polishing Attempt--Photos

I started my first polishing attempt on an old razor today. Did not remove the scales to do this, but I will at a later date.

Hopefully not too many photos and I put them in reverse order, finished first and then What it started as last.

I am pleased, but will do better next time.

Guess I also need to do better with cell phone photos.

Looks really good for first attempt to my untrained eyes

Photos looked good on my IPad but terrible here, I'll try to get a couple better after photos tomorrow.

You done good! Nice and simple but effective!

Looks pretty nice to me. I got a couple on my work bench I had worked on earlier. Work in progress.

As long as you are happy and it shaves good is all that matters.

Tried a couple more photos, hopefully it shows the blade better.

Congrats on your efforts, it looks good! Hone it, strop it and use it! Let us know how it shaves....

It is primarily for honing practice and I will shave with it also, thanks.
