    Default My first effort

    Its a G. Graves Superior of Sheffield from ebay (item: 290096927359) Cleaned up a bit with the dremel and some Autosol and scaled with guayaquil courtesy of srp member b0000urns

    Sugestions and opinions welcome I wont be insulted I know I can do better myself.

    Done that, Its currently my second best shaver next to my Ivo honed wedge. Though I prefer this one, if only because I cleaned, scaled, honed it myself.

    I have a couple of winapeica's in dire need of wood scales and some timber that Bruno sent me. I just need to figure out how to cut it down to 1/8 planks without spending a small fortune on tools.

    Thank you all for the words of encouragement

    Here a few pics of my new pinning tools.


    Btw the scales are finished in 1/3 linseed oil 1/3 turps 1/3 bees wax all melted into a paste that smells so good it makes you want to put hundreds of coats on, I cant remember who to thank for the recipe but I found it on srp somewhere so thank you whoever?
