Thread: Anyone have Cell Rot spread to other razors?

I love Dubl Duck scales but hate them at the same time. They're notorious for Cell Rot. It's especially bad when they're stored in their box. Has anyone heard of Cell Rot spreading to others scales if the razor in question is left in the open? I've always read the scales will need to be replaced of course.

If they are in a container with other razors it will affect them.

Yeah thankfully I'm sure mine is in the very earliest stages. Just a light dusting that's easily polished off with MAAS. I hate replacing duck scales since the cracked ice is nice looking but unfortunately that's the way the celluloid crumbles...

You can always replace the scales with ebony. The contrast of black and gold loss good.... at least to me it does.
