    Default Floppy blade!

Okay...........my question is this. I have a Ralf Aust 6/8 razor that the blade falls open easily and has no tension to it. How can one tighten the pin to make it have a bot more resistance to not fall open???

You can lightly tap the pin to tighten the blade up. You can use a hammer or any solid object to lay the razor on with pin in contact with hammer or solid object and a small jeweler's hammer, small ball peen hammer or a tablespoon to lightly tap with. By lightly I mean do a few test taps on your thumb nail first, if it hurts you are tapping too hard. Do an even number of taps (5 -10) on each side until the blade snugs up.
