    Default W.H. Morley and Sons

Needs a lot of cleaning. The scales are warped
and shrunken to the point that the blade can not close.

Blade cleaned up nicely, but the faux MOP I got doesn't seem to work. I got some Jamaican Blue Mahoe instead.

Cutting, sanding, and shaping by hand is a lot of work....

Coming together nicely. Are you going to pin the toe end or use an adhesive?

Does anyone know if the faux bamboo scales were a fad or were they manufactured by one company for several SR makers? I saw a razor in a store with bamboo scales and they seemed sturdy, but I'm not really a fan of the look.

I used wood glue for the spacer. I probably will not pin that end.

They were available for all companies around the turn of the century and were an extra cost item. ~Richard

Ok she is pinned. Question now is is, do I make it high gloss, or low? I'm thinkng,to match the blade... I'm quite proud of the outcome for my first attempt.
