Thanked: 169How bad is your current queue?
My current out of commission pile. A lot of terminal horn scales, and one LeGrelot that is being a bigger pain in the ass than I had imagined to source black celluloid for. You don't realize how large a Le Grelot really is overall till you size them up in other scales from blades of comparable height.

currently (after finishing the seven day set) its about 5 need to be cleaned and polished, 3 need new scales, and about 9 need honing (oh and plus the seven day set on the honing) so about 24 different projects in the queue.

I wouldn't say that I have a queue really. More of a "pile". When I finish one, I pick the next. The pile is pretty large(30+).

21.... er,22... no wait..... 24, check sofa cushions.... yep, 24.
At least I've stopped buying them. I have to resist the urge to log on to eBay just to look because it inevitably leads to purchases.
Dammit, now I'm so tempted.Than ≠ Then

Thanked: 2284I've been trying to do what I did when I quit smoking. Just don't go into the stores where they sell them. Just like Hart said, if I go onto Ebay and see a blade I want and the price is right, I'll end up buying it. It's even harder when you have expendable money sitting in your PayPal just calling your name...... Here's the blades I have waiting on me..... oh I wish I didn't have a full time job.
Most of these just need honing, but a couple need a full cleaning.
These guys are all cleaned and polished waiting for scales.
These ones need the whole restoration process done to them.
Wow I really need to stop buying fixer uppers....Burls, Girls, and all things that Swirl....
