At first I thought it was foaming at the mouth :<0) Then I saw why. Very nice save of some good old scales. A+ work.

Um where is the blade ?

Great work! I found, a while back, that dust from bakelite gave the epoxy repairs a blacker result after polishing. Seemingly to be a better match for horn scales which are polished black. My horn-dust repairs were always too light on that type.
    Your results look great!

Well, try it and let me know. Seemed to work good for me. http://straightrazorpalace.com/works...rn-repair.html. I have a bunch saving up to do several at once. Easy to mix and apply to several, sand and finish them later.
