    A better job may result by losing the goldwash, IMO. It is pretty 'washed' anyway, it would seem.
    Should turn out quite nice.

    Absolutely - Val at The Gentleman's Den did that one, at first he was positive it would lose the goldwash, but he said he would try to save. I've come to know in "Val Speak" that generally means it won't turn out quite as stunning as he usually does.

    With goldwash or without, that is a beautiful straight razor, and probably one of the nicest shaving razors out there IMO....
