Life got a little easier (in the shed)
Great score from the family for my birthday yesterday.
I got this 470watt 10" deep Bandsaw to make life in the shed a bit easier.
& I thought they were just nodding like usual when I tell them what I want LOLSaved,
to shave another day.

Bill is right.
Go through the setup and then do it again. The two I have did not come "sawable" from the factory. If you don't care where you are, you are not lost.

That saw seems to have very good adjustable ball bearing guides. In the past i got close to where I wanted to be with the saw off, spinning the wheels by hand, and then did my final adjustments with it running. Get the saw tracking well with no guides in place then start to adjust them.A little adjust of top wheel angle and the back of blade guide goes a long way and having the whole saw open is a good time to really be on your best form.
One thing to watch, set the front of the guide bearings to the back of the saw teeth or you will not have good control and the saw will cut to one side or the other and dull quickly.
Have fun and be safe!

Nice one . Better than my $40 Bunnings demo model that the guy had to find a blade for .
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
