    Default I got woods

But which kind should I use for making scales? I've got Purpleheart, Black Walnut, some mahogany, cherry, Beech, Maple...I'm planning on replacing the scales on my George W. Korn and Wade and Butcher razors. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Heh heh, my friend, I have a couple hundred boards of planed black walnut. It would take me a lifetime of collecting razors and making scales for me to use it up. When I go back home for the summer (the boards are at my parents' house) I think I might try offering small planks of it to members who want some (considering shipping costs don't get out of hand), and as long as my dad doesn't have any more projects for it.

Yeah but you can probably get a razor for each type of wood

Use them all and get more razors, as Ilija said.
