Thanks, outback! I like it, but I must admit, I like things a bit 'different' at times! ;)
Good news izzzzz as soon as I finished, Austin (ajkenne) sent me some teeny washers to go under these collars which will give support and eliminate the need for all that work I did on them underneath. He says they will be included with the collars now.
As SOON as I had it pinned-up I went to the mailbox and there they were!:banghead:
Always a day late and a dollar short....That's me!

I am going to place an order. So much better than searching through old collars! :tu
They look like the tiny ss flat washers I use, when I want that collarless pinning look.
Hmmm.

Yep! Fit right inside the collars
That's it, Outback! I have some Steve sent me a while back. Did not even think they might fit!
I get mine at ace hardware
The striped scales are pretty cool. They remind me of a post you did a ways back http://straightrazorpalace.com/custo...ipe-again.html They different scales alway make me smile, that one has mismatched sides so it really makes me smile. As always a nicely executed job with no shortcuts.
HAR! Yeah, you remembered that! :rofl2:
I am a sucker for wild old stuff. I bought the thing and threw it into the pile without realizing each side was flowing different!
Only until I was tired of seeing that blade sitting there doing nothing did I begin to search....There! Some stripes! :roflmao
Then, I decided to do it. Totally unpinned the thing. A strange discovery unfolded as I laid them side by side.
"Them's Different!" sez I!
I do hope it took so long as they were so mesmerizing and I am NOT nuts! :p
I'll make sure not to look at those again. Made me lose focus, everything was blurry for a second.
They were nice though....as always[emoji106]
Oh good! So YOU understand my sickness, outback! It ain't easy, you know! :rofl2:
