Default Restoration service needed on old family razor

    Hi there,
I've looked all over the net for someone in Aus that will do restorations on straight razors..with no success. Thought I'd join the forum here and hope someone can point me in the right direction.

I have a family straight razor that was passed down to me. and would like to get it fully restored if possible. I would love to use it after because of the sentimental value it holds.

From doing a quick search it's made by Christopher Johnson & Co Sheffield 1865 ca - but don't know exactly when was made (great great grandfather passed away in 1907)

It still has it's original pouch and looks to have an Ivory handle but I really have no idea about condition when it comes to razors, but it seems in good shape given it's 120 years +

I'm in Adelaide, and happy to post it in aus. any info at all would be very much appreciated
    Cheers

You could contact onimaru 55, he is just outside Sydney.

    Or John Emerson http://straightrazorpalace.com/members/johnmrson.html
I think he has recently moved to the east coast from Melbourne.

Our classifieds may well have more guys in Oz but they are the two I can think of.
