    Default Cast scales photos

    Several members asked me to post some pictures of the cast scales that I make,so here they are,also some pictures of blades ready for scales.I make the scales using 3 different materials ,depending on the requirements.The clear,or very pale translucent are the only ones requireing vacume degassing.All these scales are very easy to make,and very inexpensive ,if you can make 30 to 40 at a time.All the razors shown are shave ready except for the big 1837 Greaves,the egde is set on it but it is not final honed for shaving.
